About Us
The Huddersfield Youth Brass Ensemble Association (HYBEA) was formed as an independent charity in 1990. The Huddersfield Youth Brass Ensemble however, has been in existence since 1962. We comprise of a youth band (Huddersfield Youth Brass Ensemble) and senior band (Huddersfield and Ripponden Brass Band). The senior band competes in the 2nd section of the Yorkshire region.
